Aquila Round Spirals Bass Ukulele Strings – 300U
Aquila Round Spirals are innovative roundwound strings for bass ukuleles, combining varnished pure copper windings with a special aerospace-grade multifilament core.
Aquila uses flexible, high-density pure copper instead of stiffer metals such as steel, nickel or phosphor bronze to provide rich acoustic performance. The varnished copper winding is hypoallergenic and produces less noise beneath the fingers, while the distinctive multifilament core replaces the common nylon multifilament used in conventional wound bass strings.
IMPORTANT : Please Read the notes below before purchasing this string set for your U-BASS or consult an experienced instrument technician to check if these strings are appropriate for your bass ukulele.
Please Note:
These strings are only compatible with Acoustic-Electric U-BASS instruments.
NOT to be used on Solid Body U-BASS with magnetic pickups.
Modifications to the nut slots and string holes by an experienced instrument technician may be required.
As a streamlined alternative to modifications to the existing nut, the Round Wound U-BASS Nut by TUSQ can be purchased for this purpose and should be installed by an experienced instrument technician only. Due to the change to a higher tension as well, a truss rod adjustment is also recommended.
Please also note that Aquila and Original Artisan will not be responsible for damage to instruments caused by new string installments.
This 300U set is designed for 4 string bass ukuleles, UBasses and compatible Ashbory basses with scale lengths from 18 to 21 inches / 46 to 53 cm.

Please Note – These strings are designed for bass ukuleles with scale lengths from 18 to 21 inches and should not be used on longer-scale instruments.
