Description

Until now, it has always been necessary to increase a string’s gauge to reach lower frequencies, although unfortunately an increase in string diameter also has the disadvantage of increasing internal dampening resulting in a less responsive, duller sound. Aquila have conquered this age old problem with their new Granato Flamenco strings and have now made it possible to increase the density of their guitar strings without adding to their gauge.

Aquila’s Granato Series strings now achieve a brighter, more powerful sound whilst being much more responsive across the entire range of the fretboard. Granato series strings also offer better intonation than traditional strings due to the fact they are thinner and do not have to be fretted as hard as traditional wound strings, which are also prone to oxidisation.
