La Bella String Sets
Founded in 1640 in the small town of Salle in Italy, the Mari family became famous for fabricating the finest gut strings for lutes, guitars and violins throughout Europe. Supplying strings to master violin makers such as Amati and Stradivari in Cremona and creating some of the earliest strings for wire strung instruments, the Mari family’s legacy and knowledge in string making spans over 400 years.
